Get your service reviewed and listed
· How we test · Other kinds of partnership
We rank 22 short-drama services, and the list is not closed. If you run an app or a web platform in this category and it is not here, this page explains the two ways a service appears on this site, because they are different things and only one of them involves money.
- A place in the ranking — free, and our decision. Tell us about your service and we may test it and rank it. There is no fee, no queue you can pay to skip and no guarantee: we add what we think is worth covering, when we get to it. A ranking position is not for sale, at any price.
- A commissioned review — paid, labelled, and outside the ranking. A long, researched write-up of your service, published in our reviews section and marked as commissioned. It does not come with a ranking row, and buying one does not move you closer to getting one.
Keeping these apart is the whole point. A ranking a service can buy into is worth nothing to the reader, and therefore worth nothing to the services in it.
What a listing actually is
Two levels, and we print which one applies next to every score.
| Status | What it means | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Listed (provisional) | A place in the ranking with a provisional overall score, a review page, and a row in the comparison table | Assessment from your storefront listing, your own site, published pricing and user reviews at volume |
| Tested | The same, plus a score on all five axes from first-hand use, and the weight that comes with it | We install the app, watch until the free episodes run out and pay through at least one paywall with our own money |
Both appear in the same ranking. Eight of the current 22 are Listed, fourteen are Tested. New services normally arrive as Listed and move up when the paid cycle is done.
What we need from you
A submission that contains these gets an answer fast. One that does not usually stalls on the first reply.
- Something we can use ourselves — a working app or site. A press kit is not a product and cannot be reviewed.
- A public price list — the real one, including the weekly tier if there is one. We will find it anyway; sending it saves a round.
- Store links for every platform you are on, or the web address if you are browser-only.
- Who operates the service — the company name as it appears on the listing. Services with no named operator get reviewed too, but the review says so.
- Languages and territories you actually cover, not the roadmap.
What is not for sale
A position in the ranking, at any price. No operator can pay to be included, to move up, to have a documented drawback removed or to keep a competitor out. Scores come from the five axes on our methodology page and the position follows the score. Commissioning a review does not change that: the article publishes, the ranking does not move.
We also will not write a paid piece that reads as ordinary editorial. Every commissioned review is labelled where it appears, and its outgoing links carry rel="sponsored". If link equity is the point of the enquiry, we are not the right site.
What you can buy, and what it looks like
Four formats. All of them are visually distinct from editorial content, all carry a Sponsored or Commissioned label, and every outgoing link in them is rel="nofollow sponsored".
| Format | Where it sits | What it does not do |
|---|---|---|
| Commissioned review | Its own page in the reviews section, written to the same depth as our editorial reviews | Does not come with a ranking row, a score, or a place on any topic list |
| Featured block | Above the ranking, in its own frame, outside the numbering | Does not take a rank, does not carry a score, does not appear in the ranking's structured data |
| Sponsored badge | On an existing row, for a service already in the ranking | Does not change the position or the score — only adds the label and a highlight |
| Inline unit | Inside the text of a topic page, in its own bordered box | Does not carry our recommendation and is not written in our voice |
Rates depend on the page and the period, and we send them with audience figures in a media kit on request. We do not publish either on the site.
How long it takes
We reply to anything we can act on, usually within two working days. From a complete submission to a Listed entry is normally one to two weeks. Tested takes longer, because it is paced by a real viewing cycle rather than by paperwork.
Submit your service
Preset for a review and listing request. Change the first field if you are here about a paid placement instead.
If we already reviewed you and got something wrong
Send the correction through the same form and pick the review segment. We check corrections against the source — a store listing, a pricing page, a dated screenshot — and fix what is wrong, with the date updated on the page. We do not remove accurate findings, and we do not quietly edit a page to look as though it always said something else.
Frequently asked questions
Can we pay to be in the ranking?
No. A ranking position is not for sale, at any price, and there is no paid queue to join. What you can buy is a commissioned review — a long write-up published in our reviews section, labelled as commissioned, with no ranking row attached. The fee depends on the service and the scope, and we quote it in reply to the enquiry.
How long does it take to get listed?
From a complete submission, usually one to two weeks to a Listed (provisional) entry: we check the store listing, the operator, the public pricing and user reviews at volume. Moving to Tested takes longer because it means installing the app, watching until the free episodes run out and paying through at least one paywall with real money.
What is the difference between Tested and Listed?
Tested means we have completed a paid hands-on cycle and scored all five axes from first-hand use. Listed (provisional) means we assessed the service from its storefront, its own site, published pricing and user reviews, without that cycle. The status is printed next to the score so a reader knows how much weight the number deserves. A provisional score is never used to place a service above a Tested one on marketing claims.
Can we get a followed link?
No. Every paid outgoing link on this site carries rel="nofollow sponsored", and that is not negotiable. Editorial links in a review are a separate matter and are not sold. If link equity is the point of the enquiry, we are not the right site.
What if the review finds problems?
We publish them. Several services in the ranking carry documented drawbacks, one sits last with a warning, and we do not remove a finding because it is inconvenient. A service that cannot survive an honest review is better off not submitting one. If a fact is wrong, send the correction and we will check it and fix it.
