· About us · How we test
We cover 22 short-drama services, and the business layer behind them: the licensors who sell finished 9:16 seasons, the AI studios producing vertical series, and the platforms shopping for catalogue. Enquiries from all of them arrive by email every week, usually after someone has read our methodology page and worked out that we are reachable. This page replaces that email. One form, every kind of business, and an honest account of what we can and cannot do before you spend time writing.
Who writes to us, and what we can actually do
| You are | What we can do | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| A licensor with finished short-drama seasons (details on licensing) | Introduce you to platforms and operators looking for catalogue in your genres and languages | We are paid for the introduction. We are not your agent, we do not negotiate and we are not a party to the deal. |
| A platform or app looking to licence content (what we need from you) | Pass your brief to licensors whose catalogue fits, rather than to all of them | Same arrangement, from the other side. You tell us genres, languages, volume and territory. |
| An app or web service that wants to be reviewed | Review and list it in the ranking, with a Tested or Listed status depending on how far we get | Free, and the score is ours. We need a working product and a public price list, not a deck. |
| An advertiser wanting visibility | Clearly labelled placement — a sponsored block, a badge or an inline unit | Paid. Labelled as advertising, with rel="nofollow sponsored" on every outgoing link. |
| An AI studio or creator producing vertical series | Coverage of what you make, and introductions to operators who buy it | Coverage is editorial and free. Introductions are paid, same as licensing. |
| An agency or reseller | Depends entirely on what you are proposing — tell us plainly | We will say no quickly if it does not fit, which is more useful than a slow maybe. |
What is not for sale here
A position in the ranking, at any price. This is the first question most commercial enquiries are really asking, so it is worth answering before the form rather than after. Scores come from the testing set out on our methodology page; money moves nothing. Nor will we write a review that reads like editorial while being paid for, remove a documented drawback because it is inconvenient, or sell a followed link — every paid outgoing link on this site carries rel="nofollow sponsored", and that is not negotiable either.
What is genuinely available is on the table above, and it is labelled. A reader who cannot tell the difference between our opinion and someone's advertising has no reason to trust either, which would cost us more than any single placement is worth.
What happens to your enquiry
- It reaches a person, not a queue. The form delivers straight to the channel we actually watch. We read everything.
- We reply to anything we can act on, usually within two working days.
- Nothing is passed on without the consent box. If we introduce you to someone, your details go to that recipient, who becomes an independent controller of them. We will name recipients on request. Details in section 7a of the privacy notice and section 4a of the terms.
- Nothing about you is published — not your name, your numbers or your catalogue — unless you ask us to.
Audience and performance figures for placement discussions are in a media kit we send on request. We do not publish them on the site.
Send the enquiry
One form for every kind of business. Choose what it is about and the fields change — we only ask for what matters to that conversation.
What makes a reply faster
Three things, in order of how much they help. Links instead of attachments — a screener, a catalogue sheet, a store listing, a price page. Numbers you already know — how many finished seasons, which languages, which territories, what volume per month. The actual ask in the first two lines — we read everything, but a paragraph of positioning before the request slows the answer down rather than improving it.
What slows a reply to a stop: a message that could have been sent to any site in any category, an offer to buy a ranking position, or a product that cannot be looked at without signing something first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay to be ranked higher?
No. A position in the ranking is not for sale, at any price, and no amount of spend changes a score. Scores come from the testing described on our methodology page. What you can buy is clearly labelled placement — a sponsored block or an inline unit, marked as such and carrying a nofollow sponsored link. If an enquiry is really an offer to buy a position, the honest answer is that we will decline it.
We are a new app. How do we get reviewed?
Send the store links and the public pricing page through the form and pick the review segment. A review needs something we can use ourselves: a working app or site, and prices we can read without signing a contract. We cannot review a product that exists only as a press kit. New entries normally arrive with a Listed (provisional) status and move to Tested once we have paid through a full cycle.
We licence finished 9:16 seasons. What happens to our enquiry?
It goes to the people on our side who handle licensing introductions, and it may be passed to platforms looking for exactly that kind of catalogue. We are paid for making introductions. We are not an agent or broker for either side, we do not negotiate on your behalf, we do not handle funds and we do not verify anyone's title to the content. The terms of any deal are entirely between you and the other party.
Who sees what I send?
We do, first. If the enquiry is one we can act on by introducing you to someone, we pass your details to that recipient, who then handles them as an independent controller under their own privacy policy. That only happens because you ticked the consent box, and we will name the recipients on request. The detail is in section 7a of our privacy notice.
How long does a reply take?
We read everything. We reply to anything we can act on, usually within two working days. Enquiries that are plainly mass outreach, and enquiries about buying a ranking position, do not get an individual reply.
